10 Movies like The Equalizer to Watch Next

The Equalizer doesn’t necessarily seem like the action-packed film that it is within its first 30 minutes. It feels this way because they are building up the plot and introducing characters that could never be an actual person in real life. The main character is soft-spoken with the odd quirk of loving classical literature. He was enjoying his retirement until he is forced back into his old life to save a teenage girl. It’s when that moment hits that the movie goes full speed ahead.

Once the action in The Equalizer starts, it is almost impossible to look away, but totally worth the wait. The relentless carnage that Robert McCall leaves in his wake does not seem to stop. After he befriends a sex worker who dreams of becoming a singer, the movie really starts to take a turn. Audiences will be addicted to this nail-biter film that’s mysterious and dark. It is easy to want to continue watching adrenaline-pumping movies like The Equalizer. Here are 10 movies like it to watch next.
