Shailene Woodley is no stranger to the young adult film genre. Ansel Elgort
Ansel Elgort had each tween in the palm of his hand. Elgort starred as the male lead, Augustus Waters The Fault in Our Stars. Woodley and Elgort had undeniable chemistry in both this movie and as brother and sister in the Divergent series. Since this movie, Elgort has really branched out and was phenomenal in 2017 Baby driver. He was also able to show off his voice in 2021 West Side Story. However, he was never immune to controversy. Elgort's reputation was tarnished by sexual assault allegations in 2020 and has only recently returned to the public eye.
Nat Wolff
Nat Wolff played Isaac, one of the most entertaining characters in The Fault in Our Stars. He was a friend of Augustus' and suffered from retinoblastoma or eye cancer. The John Green universe would have a huge hole without Wolff. Other than The Fault in Our StarsWolff played the role of Quenten Jacobson in the 2015 film adaptation of Green's romantic mystery novel, Paper cities. This movie also starred Cara Delevinge, Justice Smith, and Jaz Sinclair. He also played a role in the 2020 movies mortal, Body cameraAnd Main stream. He is still present in the entertainment space and we are excited to see the projects he takes on in the future.
Laura Dern
In this house we love and appreciate Laura Dern. Dern is one of the top actresses in the industry today, so of course her presence as Mrs. Lancaster in this movie is palpable. Although she played a more minor role in this very intimate film, Dern was able to shine in the scenes she was given and the mother-daughter relationship she and Woodley bring to life on screen is pure magic. Dern has never faded from the spotlight. She recently made us all nostalgic with her appearance in the most recent Jurassic world movie. Dern was also part of the HBO show Big little liesin Greta Gerwigs Little womenand even got into the Star Wars franchise Star Wars: The Last Jedi. There will be an exciting sci-fi drama film for the actress with Benedict Cumberbatch and Naomi Ackie.
Sam Trammel
Every character in it The Fault in Our Stars has a special place. The delicacy of Sam Trammel's character, Mr. Lancaster, fits the film well. Since this role, Trammell has starred as Leo Doyle in the 2019 drama series Settlement. He also had the role of Winter in 2021 American refugee. Although he is probably best known for his role in the HBO fantasy series Real bloodwe are still excited to see what projects he has in the future.
William Dafoe
Did you forget that DE William Dafoe wash inside The Fault in Our Stars? We certainly didn't! Dafoe is easily one of the best actors of our time. For decades he has blessed us with stunning and chilling performances that leave us at a loss for words. In the YA film, Dafoe plays the tormented writer and addict Peter Van Houten. Dafoe's name has recently been mentioned in the biggest headlines for reprising his role as the Green Goblin in MCU hit Spider-Man: No Way Home. From his big franchise roles as Norman Osborne and Nuidis Vulko in Aquarius to his roles At the Eternity Gate, The lighthouseAnd The Norman, Dafoe does not slow down quickly. Mike Birbiglia
Contrary to popular belief, Mike Birbiglia is not locked up in the literal heart of Jesus to this day. Birbiglia has entered Patrick The Fault in Our Stars. His screen time in this film is minimal. However, the morbid comedy of his testicular cancer and his involvement in the iconic "oblivion" conversation between Hazel and Augustus make him a memorable character. If you were interested in Birbiglia's career, he happens to be a fantastic American comedian and occasional actor.
