Pushed overnight into an unfamiliar and superficial world where his gullibility plays tricks on him, Longfellow meets Babe, an ambitious journalist with ulterior motives with whom he quickly falls in love.


Supporting Sandler in the cast of this 1936 remake Mr. Deeds is going to town are Winona Ryder, Peter Gallagher, Jared Harris, Allan Covert and John Turturro. While Mr. Daden was not as well reviewed as the original film, but it became an absolute blockbuster.
